The Swim England North East Championships kick off this Saturday (22nd April) with the first weekend of the Age Grouped event for 14 years and under at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre. The North East swimming region brings together the Northumberland & Durham and Yorkshire swimming areas, two of the strongest in the country, to compete for regional titles, the second step up in Championship swimming.
400m events and below will have finals swam in the evening of the day of the heats.
Aviana and Jessica are representing Sedgefield in the first weekend with Filip hopefully fit to join them in the second weekend on 13th/14th May.

The Open Championships for age 15 and above will take place over three days from 29th April until 1st May at Ponds Forge in Sheffield where Alex will be wearing the famous yellow hat for Sedgefield.
