Emma and John have been selected for a new training programme initiated by British Swimming. Named 'distance initiative', it has been created to address a lack of top elite swimmers in Team GB at 400m events and longer. It will entail more specialised training for Emma delivered by John at club sessions and regular monitoring and reporting back to a team of National Coaches.

See AllStarting from Tuesday 2nd April 2024, swim training for fitness will be as follows: A new 8-10 group for swimmers who have achieved Swim England Level 7 will have a 1-hour session on Mondays 6pm-7pm.
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st is off due to competing at Sunderland. Best of luck to our swimmers heading up.
Last training before Christmas is Saturday 23rd Training is on Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Saturday 30th Normal training will resume on Tuesday 2nd January
